Special Requirements
Our practice adheres to the ‘Accessible Information Standard’ (AIS).
This means that we want to give you information in ways that is best for you. This might include:
- large print
- braille
- easy read
Or you might need access to a hearing loop, type to talk relay service or an interpreter. If you have any additional communication needs, please let us know and we can add a note to your medical record.
Chaperones
Our service provides a safe environment where patients and staff can be confident that best practice is being followed. All patients can request to have a chaperone present for any appointment or examination. This chaperone can be a trained member of staff, a family member or friend.
There may also be times where your clinician might require a chaperone to be present for your appointment. When possible, please let us know that you would like a chaperone before your appointment. This helps to avoid your appointment being delayed or rescheduled. When this is not possible we will do our best to provide a chaperone at the time of request.
Interpreter
If you need an interpreter for your appointment please let us know as soon as possible.
Our interpreter service covers a large range of languages.
If you need any help when you are visiting the GP Hubs, please let us know before your appointment by calling the practice.
